The Catonsville Recreation and Parks Council is a volunteer-led community organization that partners with Baltimore County to plan, support, and deliver affordable recreational programs, events, and activities that promote wellness, inclusion, and community connection for residents of all ages in the Catonsville area.

Associated Organizations

  • The Department of Recreation and Parks provides quality recreational and leisure opportunities to County residents and visitors via its parklands and open spaces, recreation and nature centers, and other specialized facilities.

  • The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) is a non-profit, member-driven organization supporting and promoting local businesses in Catonsville, MD, since 1946. It acts as a business advocate, connecting professionals and organizing community events like the Weekly Sunday Farmers Market, Frederick Road Fridays, and the Arts & Crafts Festival.

  • A non-profit, volunteer-run outdoor amphitheater in Catonsville, MD, known for hosting free summer concerts, spanning genres from rock to bluegrass. Located on the grounds of Catonsville High School, this shaded, bowl-shaped venue features natural acoustics, seating for over 300-800 people, a concession stand, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
